As a result of the growing concerns of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the SMST Committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Sharon Math and Science Tournament on March 28. The Sharon Public Schools administration has also determined that it is in the best interest of the public to cancel all upcoming major events due to the risk of transmission among large gatherings. 

 

We understand that this is very disappointing to our participants and our volunteers, who have worked very hard; however, the health and well-being of our participants, volunteers, and staff is and remains our top priority.

 

We are deeply saddened to announce this cancellation. SMST 2020 had a record number of registrants, with almost 200 competitors. We hope to welcome many of you back next year, and we will be working hard to perfect our tournament for then.
